I found this at a great price for $155 and free shipping so I knew I had to buy it. I was a little worried about the quality of the beds because of the great price. While the wood could be a little thicker to support more weight and the space between the upper and lower bunk could be a little wider. Overall it works really well for our two young girls (ages 5 and 2 1/2). This bed is not big and bulky like most bunk beds. I really like the fact that the beds can be separated so when they decide they no longer want to share a room they can easily spilt up. It was also very easy to put together. My husband did it himself in about an hour. I would recommend this bed for young children but not for older children.
