The bed looks very nice, is very sturdy, and all pieces were in the box and in great condition. The drawers slide very nicely as advertised, however the board with the knobs doesn't lie completely flush with the frame when closed (but this is VERY minor). The bed took my hubby about 3 hours to put together (by himself), but mentioned that he's never buying flat box furniture again. Make sure you have an electric screw driver and have someone available to help the UPS driver get the box inside - the package is an awkward shape and very heavy. The bed+mattress height is a bit taller than I expected. Our daughter just turned 2, but is the height of most 3 year olds, yet she has trouble getting into the bed. When attempting, she'd often catch her legs on the wood trim or drawer knobs so we got a small step stool and solved the problem. All-in-all, we are extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely buy it again.
